I've started cycling for recreational purposes, but don't like doing too much on the roads. The poor condition of the roads makes for a very uneven ride, and having experienced drivers who don't even seem to see me, I don't feel safe.
I am looking for somewhere off road to ride close to where I live in Handbridge that would take about 1 hr, preferably a loop that would bring me back close to where I started.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Go through the college grounds to the cemetry gates then either down the duke sdrive to eccleston, and return, or go straight across , cross wrexham road on the bike crossing and follow blue signs towards lache lane, and onto cliveden road, turn left onto hough green, and then right at the lights at Netto, follow the road to the end, and through the hopped barrier, along the river dee to saltney ferry bridge, over the bridge, please walk, and either turn left for connahs quay all off road, and return or turn right for chester, follow route to sealand road , seaview chippy, then keep right, along pavement past the new appartments, and turn left onto the new cycle path to the roodee, then either up the stairs to curzon park, over the river , or carry on and follow the track to the groves, and then over the suspenbnsion bridge back to handbridge.
