How far can I go from C.Quay dock road without leaving a cycle path, i.e could I go all the way to Birkenhead, or Thonrton Hough say?

You can go allthe way to chester via the river dee route or the greenaway route,there are marked cycle routes from the blue cycle bridge at RAF sealand to capenhurst and onwards to thornton Hough, using the national cycle network.Route 5.

You can indeed get to Birkenhead off road, via Burton Marshes and the Wirral coastline.
